Totally random but the other day I was trying to come up with dinner.  There was salmon and there was asparagus. My wheel started turning. I threw it together on a baking sheet – along with chopped tomatoes – for a super simple one-pan meal. Also drizzled with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, oregano and sea salt and baked at 400 for 15 minutes. It came out delicious (and kinda cute)!

Laziness gives birth to many amazing dishes in our house HAHA!

P.S. I am not always that obsessive with perfectly laid out veggies on my tray LOL

Since my workouts are returning back to a consistent schedule, I thought I’d share with you my week’s workout schedule.

When I have a chance, I like to sit down and write out a plan for the week. It helps me stay on track and committed to my workouts. I encourage you to try it for a few weeks and hold yourself accountable. It will be a game changer!

As some of you know, cooler morning temps and probably (mostly) sleeping through the night enticed me back into running again. It’s been fun to get outside with kiddos. But I am also trying to take it easy, since my last official quality run was probably more than 4 months ago. You’ve got to start somewhere, right?

So here’s what this week’s workout schedule looks like:

Monday: running

Tuesday: strength training, leg day

Wednesday: running

Thursday: strength training, core + arms + back

Friday: gym (kettle bell total body workout)

Saturday: running

Sunday: yoga

As you see, I am skipping my beloved HIIT training while I run 3x a week and instead focusing on building/toning muscles. This should provide a nice balance of cardio and strength training.
