Hey friends! Today I wanted to share my go to easy and healthy recipe that also happens to be a family’s favorite – Easy Sheet Pan Lemony Salmon and Asparagus. This dinner is my favorite too for three reasons:

  1. It comes together in under 20 minutes, so it’s perfect for a weeknight dinner.
  2. Only one dish to clean
  3. It’s deliciously nutritious, packed with healthy fats, proteins, and fiber.

I usually get a giant chunk (2-3 lbs) of salmon filet from Costco. It’s farm raised, which is not ideal but at least they promise no use of antibiotics.

I cut the filet in serving portions, season with my favorite seasonings, drizzle with lemon juice and lay on a greased baking sheet along with veggies.  Asparagus is my favorite but sometimes I add cherry tomatoes too. Ten minutes later you have a delicious dinner waiting for you. Boom!

Another tip: line the sheet pan with foil to minimize cleaning. You’re welcome! 🙂

Here’s the recipe if you want to give it a try. Print now or Pin for later.

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  3. Season salmon filet with salt, pepper, basil, oregano and garlic powder and line on the sheet, spacing a few inches apart.

  4. Cut a lemon in half. Squeeze on half over the salmon. Slice the other half and place over the filet.

  5. Spread asparagus and cherry tomatoes on the same baking sheet and sprinkle with olive oil.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes or to desired doneness.

Recipe Notes

The dish is good on its own, but if you or your kids prefer a starchy side - it goes beautifully with Lemony rice or garlic mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
